The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to promote next month's bout.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
